Taliban video shows aid worker hostages (AP)

This combo of two stills made from an undated video posted on Canadian broadcaster CBC News's Web site shows two French aid workers who were apparently taken hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan. CBC did not air the video which surfaced on Friday April 13, 2007 and did not say how it obtained the footage. The man and woman are both employed by Terre d' Enfance, a humanitarian association and disappeared on April 3 in Afghanistan's southwest Nimroz province along with an Afghan cook, a driver and a body guard. French President Jacques Chirac has asked the Afghan government to help secure their release.
